Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this Mizpah pendant features a split heart design with intricate engraving. The word Mizpah comes from the Old Testament in the Bible. It is an old Hebrew word that means “Lord watch over me”. Mizpah pendants are usually made to cut in two with a zig-zag line bearing the words "The LORD watch between me and thee, when we are absent one from another". It's marked as an agreement between two people, with God as their witness, for God to watch over them when they are absent from one another. Each half of the heart is designed with a loop for easy attachment to a chain.
